This film relives the terrifying moments surrounding an event where 15 people were struck by lightning on a Colorado bluff, and travels with storm chaser Tim Samaras and his high-tech gear to the edge of a storm to photograph lightning in the nanoseconds it reaches for Earth. Using sophisticated graphics and functional MRI images, we’ll explore the science of how lightning effects strike survivors and witness the devastating effects of a lightning strike that came completely out of the clear blue sky.
